Mobile Vehicle Diagnostics

Your car or van will have several warning lights that may appear on the dashboard. Engine diagnostics can help identify the problem before a serious failure occurs. We can provide an extremely accurate diagnostic on your doorstep or at any location of your choice. 

Modern vehicles contain an on-board computer know as an Engine Control Unit (ECU) which will monitor the performance of the vehicle and analyse the various monitored systems on the vehicle to identify abnormal performance. If an issue is detected, sensors send signals back to the ECU. Faults include a low battery charge or low fluids. The ECU then generates an error code. Specialist diagnostic equipment is required to analyse the code.  All our mobile technicians have vehicle diagnostic equipment and can provide diagnostic support on your door step. For more in depth issues our Autocentre is equipped with additional test and diagnostic equipment.

There are many fault codes that can only be read by specialist diagnostic equipment. A warning light on the dashboard may identify that a fault exists, but specialist diagnostic equipment is required to fully diagnose the issue.
